Terms of Service
Every good ride starts with knowing the ground rules. Before you shop with Matthew Ly Burris at matthew-ly-burris.myshopify.com, take a minute with these Terms. They're written to be fair, clear, and enforceable.
Using the site or placing an order means you're on board.
Ground Rule 1 — Who's on the field
Us: Matthew Ly Burris, a U.S.-based store specializing in sports and riding apparel. You: anyone visiting the site or placing an order.
Ground Rule 2 — Age check
You need to be at least 18 to place an order (or have a parent/guardian's sign-off), and legally able to enter a contract under U.S. law.
Ground Rule 3 — Your account, your gear
If you create an account, your login is yours to protect. Anything that happens under your login is on your side of the field. Suspect a break-in? Email hydrew0503@hotmail.com or call +1 235-313-2621 immediately.
Ground Rule 4 — How the deal closes
The play works like this:
- You submit an order — that's your offer to buy
- We send the order confirmation — that's the deal closing
- Payment is captured through the method you chose at checkout
Before we send that confirmation, we can call time on the order for reasons like:
- The item just sold out
- A price or description was posted in error
- The order looks fraudulent
- The order clashes with these Terms
Paid order cancelled by us? Full refund, same payment method, no hassle.
Ground Rule 5 — On prices
- All prices in USD
- Prices may adjust; the price you saw at checkout is the price you pay for that order
- Obvious price errors (typos, misplaced decimals) — we may cancel rather than fulfill, with full refund
Ground Rule 6 — Payment
Use any method offered at checkout. By submitting payment, you confirm you're authorized to use it.
Ground Rule 7 — Shipping and returns

- Returns: covered in our Return and Refund Policy
Both are on the field with these Terms.
Ground Rule 8 — Product descriptions
Sports and riding apparel means real materials — jerseys, technical fabrics, leather, breathable weaves. We describe every piece as accurately as we can, but small variations in color, texture, or fit are part of the character of these materials. Not defects.
Ground Rule 9 — What's ours
Everything on the site — copy, product photos, illustrations, code, layout, and the "Matthew Ly Burris" name — belongs to us or is licensed to us. U.S. copyright and trademark law protects it.
In-bounds for you:
- Browsing the site
- Sharing product links
- Saving pages for personal reference
Out-of-bounds without written permission:
- Reproducing content commercially
- Using our brand assets in another business
- Scraping or mirroring the site
- Modifying or redistributing the site
Ground Rule 10 — Fair play
By using the site, you agree not to:
- Break any law
- Attempt to compromise the site or other users
- Send malware, viruses, or spam
- Use bots or scrapers without permission
- Impersonate anyone
Cross these lines and you're benched — access removed.
Ground Rule 11 — Warranty disclaimer
The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent U.S. law permits, we disclaim implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for purpose, non-infringement) beyond your statutory consumer rights.
Ground Rule 12 — Liability cap
- Direct claim? Capped at what you paid for the product at issue.
- Indirect losses (lost profits, hypothetical damages)? We're not on the hook.
Ground Rule 13 — End of access
Breach these Terms and we may cut off your access without notice.
Ground Rule 14 — Which laws apply
U.S. federal law + the laws of the state where our business is registered. Any legal action gets brought in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
Ground Rule 15 — Updates
Terms may change as the business grows. New versions take effect on publication. Keep using the site = you're in for the updated version.
